My Journey,

By realizing you want change, you’ve already taken a step toward making it happen. This is what I discovered when I ventured out of my comfy career into an ever-expanding livelihood.

Today, my life-work is expanding in ways for myself and others in the discovery and  pursuit of dreams. As with most life paths, I stumbled upon this one.  After eight years teaching, my dream-come-true career, I found myself searching for more ways to serve.  After some ‘soul searching’ with some good friends about what I love to do, I realized life-coaching offered a lot of attraction.  So I began professional life coach training with Coaches Training Institute in 2007.  

Afterward, I felt there were more tools available for change for ourselves and our lives than just the traditional life coaching tools.  I wanted something that addressed ‘energy’ and how quickly we could change-instantly.  When I found NLP, I knew this was what I wanted to study. The power of our thoughts spoke to me.

In 2008, I completed Master NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), Hypnotherapy, TimeLine and Regression and Reiki Certification with Bennett Stellar University.  On my way home from Sedona that August, I said I’d open a studio that September.  Nervous and excited, positive and doubtful, I hung the sign at the end of my driveway on September 21, 2008.

Following graduation with BSU, they asked me to help  as an admissions couselor working out of my home. This was a new endeavor for the University now in it’s fourteenth year experiencing tremendous growth in enrollments. And, this was a God-Send for me as it gave me the opportunity to talk with other professionals all over the world.  I could talk about my own training and put into words what was taught so profoundly that I could hardly explain it to others.  This was great practice as I mustered up the strength to believe I could actually apply these tools with others, and put these tools to work in my own life. 

Now it’s been four years since I began this new life-path, and I love it.  The first three years, I had other jobs to provide an income.  It’s amazing how these jobs popped up for me to work out of my home while growing the business. They also were duties in the health field.  I continue to meet many wonderful people where our interests overlapped into my own practice, while I was also performing the duties of my job.  I was realizing, in my own life, a quote by W.H Murray, “When one finally commits, whole providence moves too”, as many of the supports I needed have appeared at the right time. 

I’m grateful to share these tools with clients, businesses, and organizations where we all benefit from the sharing.  I work in 1:1, small group, and give many presentations on the power of our minds to create more of what we want in life.  Feel free to contact me for more information or to schedule a confidential session.
